AIR FORCE ONE - PRESTWICK AIRPORT
The Ardrossan Coastguard Rescue Team is urging the public to plan ahead and stay safe if heading to coast later today for the anticipated arrival of Air Force One.
It has been widely publicised that Air Force One is expected to land at Prestwick Airport at some stage during the day as The President of the United States, Donald Trump, is due to spend the weekend in Scotland whilst visiting the UK.
If you are heading to the coast for a chance to catch a glimpse of the President's arrival, please take extra care and don't put yourself at any risk trying to get a photograph.
Be sure to check the weather forecast and tide times before setting off along the beach and you can anticipate a heavy police presence across Ayrshire during the course of the weekend.
