All aboard! Depute Provost attends Troon Lifeboat Station Open Day

Depute South Ayrshire Provost, William Grant was in Troon recently to celebrate the town's Lifeboat Station Open Day.

The Depute Provost opened the event which was a chance for locals and visitors to have fun but also help raise funds for this important service.

Depute Provost Grant said: "It was a wonderful day and everyone had a good time, especially those that got aboard the lifeboats. We have some of the busiest beaches in Scotland and knowing the volunteers are on standby is very reassuring."
