Ayr is getting ready to welcome the world as people flock from all over not just Scotland but the world to this Years “Scottish international Airshow“ this Saturday and Sunday.

Over 180,000 people are expected over the weekend with the Airshow taking off in just under 48 hours.
Along with the Airshow, a huge Funfair will also be on site with a big Ferris wheel and “Booster” a high flying ride and a first for Ayr along with the big wheel.
Over 23 displays will take place over the two days and for a first time ever the Red Arrows will display on both days at the end of each day.
Airshow displays include The Swiss Airshow, Red Arrows, Hurricane Fighter, The Spartan, RAF Typhoon fighter and much more!
Buses and Trains are available to cater for travels from outside Ayrshire and although restrictions are in place due to the Station hotel issues ScotRail are still running services to Ayr from Glasgow on both days although Trains will be shorter than normal replacement buses will operate where needed.
Stagecoach West Scotland is also expected to see a much larger increase than normal passengers especially on the X77, 58 and 60 services however it’s expected extra buses will be used if needed at busy times especially after the Airshow.
If travelling by Car parking will be available throughout the town and all car parks will be signposted from arrival at Ayr.
The weather is expected to be Dry and mild so no worries about rain on both days so if you're looking to have a great day out with the whole family then head to this year's Scottish international Airshow at Ayr low green where the whole display is FREE!
