Ayrshire college students help raise money for the RNLI


The Supported learning department based at Ayr college have done a fundraising fish themed lunch for the RNLI with each person donating £2 to enter with all money raised going directly to the RNLI.


The students arranged the whole event including cooking the fish and chips that was served to all along with tea and coffee. The room was also designed with an RNLI theme in mind.

The RNLI Troon team memeber also came and spoke to the group about what the RNLI do and what volunteering means to the RNLI along with some stories in-between.

The event lasted for over 1 hour and raised around £70 for the RNLI and singing and poems where also part of the entertainment.
