South Ayrshire based Land Energy is thrilled to announce that it has been shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards in recognition of its continued commitment to innovation, sustainability and business excellence in Ayrshire and the wider region.

The company has been confirmed as a finalist in the Resilience category by the Glasgow

based Centre for Engineering, Education and Development (CeeD) at its Industry Awards.

The awards celebrate innovation, excellence and collaboration across all Scottish industry sectors, highlighting remarkable achievements by ambitious and forward thinking companies and organisations. The shortlist recognises businesses and individuals that demonstrate exceptional performance and a commitment to helping create a sustainable circular economy.

The CeeD Industry Awards will take place on Thursday 5 March 2026 at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow, bringing together leaders, innovators and disruptors from across the

manufacturing, engineering and technology sectors.

Land Energy has also been shortlisted as a finalist in the Net Zero Innovation Award category at the 2026 Confederation of Forest Industries (Confor) Awards, which recognise outstanding contributions by forestry utilising industries. The awards spotlight organisations and individuals making a significant impact through forward thinking leadership, sustainability initiatives and contributions to the UK’s overall net zero ambitions.

Hopes are high, as the company previously won the Innovation Award from the Ayrshire

Chamber of Commerce last year.

The Confor Awards ceremony will take place at Surgeons Quarter in Edinburgh on 11 March 2026, where winners across all categories will be revealed.

David Bone, Marketing Representative at Land Energy, said:

“It’s a real honour to be nominated in these varied categories by two very different

organisations. Just to be seen as an award contender is a testament to the hard work of the

entire team at Land Energy. We are alongside some very strong contenders in their field, and we wish everyone the best of luck.”

Founded in 2006, Land Energy is now the UK’s largest producer of sustainable wood pellets and briquettes, supplying low carbon renewable fuel to homes and businesses nationwide.

The company also manufactures a range of sustainable products, including cat litter and

horse bedding.
