STEVEN MCCORMICK who turned 11 yesterday was in for a birthday shock as he thought he was going to watch a normal game of football at his local club Ayr United who tonight, were playing against Rangers FC.

It didn't quite turn out how Steven thought, instead he was the Mascot for Ayr United and lead the team out who were playing against Rangers.
Arranged by Mum Gillian and Dad Alan - Steven certainly looked excited in this video footage - watch as Steven find's out exactly what part he was to play in tonights match - also watch him leading the players onto the pitch.

Steven attends Dalmilling Primary and is Football daft, he playes for Valspar 2004's and took part in the Rozelle tournament in May this year.
He is a season ticket holder and attends every home game, his favourite player is Nicky Devlin.
