Body of 70 year old Graham Johnstone recovered

Police Scotland confirmed on it's social media sites that the body of Graham Johnstone was recovered from the River Ayr on Saturday.

Graham's relatives have been informed and are very upset during this time.

Police Scotland said: "The body of 70 year-old Graham Johnstone who had been missing from his home in Whitehill Crescent, Annbank, South Ayrshire, since Friday 1 January 2016, was recovered from the River Ayr, near Tarholm Bridge, Annbank, yesterday afternoon, Saturday 23 January 2016.

"His relatives are aware - There would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death."
