Cinderella set for the Gaiety after last years sell out success

After last year’s huge Pantomime success of ‘Snow White’ at the Ayr Gaiety Michael Courtney and Karen Ludmer have pulled it out of the bag again with the biggest and best panto of them all ‘Cinderella.’

Rumours have it that many performances are already selling out much earlier this year, so the message is ‘GET YOUR TICKETS NOW!’ Have a magical Christmas with this fabulous traditional family pantomime ‘Cinderella’ the worlds greatest fairy tale of them all!

The classic rags to riches story! Cinderella lives a life of drudgery, bullied by her horrible Ugly sisters Corvonia and Tixilix. Her muddled and confused father, Baron Hardup is powerless to intervene (he’s more scared of them than she is!) and her only comfort is her pal Buttons!

Prince Charming is holding a ball to meet his bride to be - can this be the chance that Cinders has been waiting for?

Despite the best efforts of her two malicious Ugly Sisters, Cinderella shall go to the ball with the help of her Magical Fairy Godmother!

Starring Leah MacRae as The Fairy Godmother currently performing in BBC’s ‘River City’ and loved throughout the UK for her role in ‘Gary Tank Commander’ played this same role at the re-opening of the Gaiety in 2012.

Michael Courtney the Writer and Director of the Panto returns in his favourite role as Buttons and Ayr locals consist of Kenny Boyle as Covonia, Colin Ferguson as Baron Hardup and Scott Watson as Dandini. Returning as the Prince due to popular demand for his third year running is Liam Webster and making his Ugly sister debut is Adam Buksh.

The beautiful Lorna Amy Sullivan makes the perfect Cinderella having played this role for Michael and Karen in one their pantomimes previously.

Will Cinderella meet her handsome prince, will good overcome evil...

All will be revealed in this spellbinding pantomime full of music, magic and mayhem, special effects, breathtaking sets, loads of laughs and lavish costumes. The perfect Christmas treat for all the family and one of the most sensational and magical pantomimes to ever come to the Ayr Gaiety Theatre
