Cocktail is just the tonic for Ayrshire Hospice

A bar and restaurant in Ayr is serving up a charity donation to Ayrshire Hospice with every ‘Summer Fruits Tonic’ cocktail sold over the coming months.

The bespoke cocktail creation from bartender Euan Duncan can be ordered now and will be available throughout June, July and August at The Tree House in Ayr with £1 from every sale going to the local Hospice.

Euan said: “Ayrshire Hospice is a cause close to our hearts at The Tree House with many of us witnessing first-hand the great work they do and support they offer.

“I created this cocktail as a light and refreshing option for summer and hope it will entice the taste buds of our customers and in turn raise a brilliant sum for charity.”

Ron Swanson, Assistant Fundraising Manager at the Ayrshire Hospice said “We are very touched that Euan has created this unique cocktail and we are delighted that the staff at The Treehouse are getting behind the ‘Big Summer Sizzle’ campaign in such a meaningful way.

“We need to raise around £20,800 per day to keep all our hospice services running and the support of the Ayrshire community is always truly appreciated.”

The Summer Fruits Tonic is a gin based cocktail with Chambord, lemon juice and tonic.”
