Cumnock Academy in Ayrshire evacuated after bomb threat

Pupils at Cumnock Academy have been evacuated and sent home for the day after a bomb threat was called in to the school today.

Police and Emergency services are on scene, but the threat is thought to be a hoax.

This comes after a number of schools in Scotland have received bomb threats in the last 2 weeks, with Auchinleck Academy being one of them yesterday.
