Enquiries ongoing after robbery at Main Street Ayr Farmfoods store

Police were called to Farmfoods in Main Street, Ayr, following a robbery around 6:50pm.

The police attended the scene with more than 3 vehicles deployed.

The front of the store and part of the path remains cordoned off.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told ADN:

”We were called around 6.50pm on Friday, 26 March, to a robbery at a store in Main Street, Ayr.

“Enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances.”

Police officers remain on scene.
