A Flood alert has been issued for Ayrshire and Arran.
Heavy rain is forecast to affect the area overnight into Wednesday. There is a risk of flooding to low lying land and roads from surface water and small watercourses.
On Tuesday evening into Wednesday exposed westerly facing coastal communities may see isolated wave overtopping at times of high tide.
