If you like to get outside and stretch your legs why not get involved with the South Ayrshire Walking Weekend.

Taking place the weekend of 18-20 May, this is an opportunity to experience the best of South Ayrshire through a series of guided walks.
The Council has come together with a number of partners to offer a wide range of walks to suit all abilities and thanks to volunteers, funding and Council support they are all free.
From Bumblebee and Bat inspired nature trails, to power striding health walks and gentle strolls, there truly is something for everyone.
Look out for the Nordic Walking experience at Belleisle House or join a fantasy adventure in Barr on the mystical Fairy Knowe Walk.
Councillor Brian McGinley, Economic Development, Tourism and Leisure Portfolio Holder for South Ayrshire Council said:
"We want to ensure that everyone in our communities has the opportunity to get active and stay active. Walking is a great way not only to get healthy but experience some of the best scenery and wildlife that South Ayrshire has to offer.
"There are walks for everyone, so why not get outside, make new friends and experience the benefits of walking. To find a walk that's right for you, visit the website and then turn up on the day, it's as simple as that."
