The Girvan community have been left Shaken and upset after a wave of vandalism on Saturday night.
Numerous shops in the town where left with smashed windows along with several cars and houses, A community house near the cemetery was also burned down deliberately during the wave of vandalism.
The large scale of the vandalism and the damage has left the small community on edge with people being urged to make sure doors and sheds are locked where appropriate.
