HM Coastguard is appealing for information after Malicious call

HM Coastguard is currently appealing for information regarding a callout on Saturday night near to Greenock.

At 2156 hours on Saturday 28th April 2018, the Greenock Coastguard Rescue Team was tasked to a call from a vessel named “Lady Muck” which was reported as taking on water around the Lunderston Bay area of Inverclyde. Multiple assets including an MOD Police Launch, Largs Lifeboat, Largs CRT a Senior Officer and a Coastguard Rescue Helicopter took part in the search with nothing found.
