Liberty X Star Michelle Heaton to appear in Gaiety pantomime

The Ayr Gaiety Partnership and Michael Courtney Productions are delighted to announce the line up for this year’s Pantomime ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ and it promises to be bigger and better than ever before with a star studded cast headed by Michelle Heaton.

Stunning Liberty X star Michelle Heaton will appear as the Wicked Queen and the TV presenter and pop princess confirmed the news via Twitter on Sunday.

Michelle said after Sundays panto photo shoot “I am delighted to be playing the Wicked Queen in Ayr this Christmas...I love Scotland and I am excited to be spending the festive season at The Gaiety Theatre in Pantomime!

"I am told its one of Scotland’s finest theatres and can’t wait to meet everyone there. The whole family are going to be joining me for two weeks over Christmas and the kids are really excited!

"We are going to have a fabulous Pantomime and a fun time and I’m really looking forward to it.”

Joining Michelle is the beautiful Lorna Anderson who played the role of Amber Murdoch for four years in BBC's River City. Local lass Anderson is delighted to be appearing in Pantomime at her much loved local theatre.

Other cast members include one of Scotland’s most aspiring new playwrights is the murderously marvellous Kenny Boyle as Henchman Pratt- well known at The Gaiety for his Murder Mystery Nights and his critically acclaimed Hero Worship show that is a firm Fringe favourite.

Starring alongside him we see the return of Liam Webster as the dashing Prince and Daniel Whitley makes his Gaiety debut as funnyman Muddles.

Can good conquer evil? Can love save the day? Oh yes it can!

This spellbinding pantomime full of music, magic and mayhem, special effects, breathtaking sets, loads of laughs and lavish costumes is the perfect Christmas treat for all the family and is guaranteed to be the biggest show of them all!
