The hub on Main Street in Prestwick will serve as a welcoming and vibrant space for anyone who shares a positive vision for Scotland’s future. It will host meetings, drop-ins, and public events, encouraging collaboration and conversation about an independent Scotland.

Siobhian Brown MSP performed the opening, cutting the ribbon in front of an enthusiastic crowd of supporters, local YES groups, and community members.

Speaking at the opening, Siobhian Brown commented:

“It was a real pleasure to officially open South Ayrshire’s new Indy Hub. This is a fantastic space for our community - a place where people can come together, share ideas, and work towards building the fairer, more prosperous Scotland we all want to see. The energy and commitment across the constituency is inspiring, and I know this hub will be at the heart of our local independence movement.

"Independence support is on the rise. YES Prestwick and Indy supporters throughout Ayrshire are delighted to support and be part of this new hub. Everyone will be made most welcome.”

The Hub is intended as both an organising base for local YES campaigners and a friendly, accessible venue for anyone who wants to learn more about Scottish independence. Organisers say it will play a key role in grassroots engagement as Scotland’s constitutional debate continues.

The Indy Hub has been supported and funded by Ayr, Prestwick and Troon Constituency Association, members and generous donations from several sources.
