LOCALITY POLICING UPDATE - IRVINE

LOCALITY POLICING - UPDATE - IRVINE

Students across Scotland today (Tuesday 7 August 2018) received the results for their Nationals, Highers and Advanced Highers.

PC Ferguson, Campus Police Officer, at Irvine Royal Academy was back in school today to meet pupils and staff as they returned to celebrate their achievements and look ahead to their future.

Sergeant Jason Peter, of the Irvine Locality Policing Team, said “exam results day can be both exciting and stressful for students, parents and carers. Early analysis by the Local Authority shows continued success at a range of levels across the area.

“Campus Police Officers are very much part of the school community and PC Ferguson was on hand to meet pupils today to celebrate their achievements and reassure those who may not have achieved the results they had hoped for that they still have many options.

“There is help and advice available from local schools or the national exam hotline from Skills Development Scotland on 0808 100 8000.”
