Lockdown rules are tightened around Glasgow due to a rise in cases

First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, will review the situation after one week but said that tightening restrictions could go even further and won’t be ruled out.

Households will not be able to visit each other from midnight tonight, and these measures apply to the City of Glasgow, West Dunbartonshire and East Renfrewshire.

Care home visits will take place outdoor and only emergency hospital visits will be allowed across the affected areas.
