ASSAULT WITH INTENT TO ROB - ARREST - KILMARNOCK
On Thursday 29th November, police in Kilmarnock arrested a 44 year old man for an alleged assault on an 81 year old woman with intent to rob her of her belongings in the Kilmarnock area. This man was held in police custody.
Chief Inspector Gillian Docherty, Area Commander for East Ayrshire said:
“Violent crime is a priority for policing in East Ayrshire and we will continue to target those involved in these types of crime.
“Local officer’s have carried out extensive enquiries into this incident which has resulted in the person responsible being arrested and put before the court."
