Man arrested for drugs at prestwick airport

A man was found carrying cocaine and diazapam at Prestwick Airport as he made his way through security.
It is understood the 30 year old was caught with the drugs by security staff at the search area who went through the normal search procedure. The incident took place at 1.40pm on Sunday June 6 and the police were called to the airport where they seized the items they believed to be the class a and b drugs and sent them away for testing. At this time the man has been released and a report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal who will determine if the incident will go to court.
