Met-Office warns of a stormy weekend ahead with wind gusts of 80MPH and heavy rain possible

The Met-Office has warned of an extremely windy weekend ahead from the whole of the UK with wind gusts of 80MPH possible along the Ayrshire coast on Sunday.

The Met-Office has currently issued a UK wide Yellow warning however its likely some places will be upgraded to Amber before Sunday as winds are expected to range between 50MPH and 80MPH along with heavy rain and high waves.

Next week also looks extremely windy with more storms expected so certainly one to watch.
