A months worth of delays in store because of roadworks
Road users in Ayr are being warned to expect delays over the next month. Scottish Water is advising road users in the Hollybush area, south east of Ayr, of some road traffic management as they are working on improvements to water mains.
A short section of the A713 at Malcolmston Farm near Hollybush will be reduced from two lanes to one with a convoy system in operation, from Monday June 13 for about four weeks.
A spokesman said: "The road traffic management is required to enable Scottish Water’s contractors to work on upgrading some water mains, improve our service to local customers and reduce the risk of bursts.
"We thank road users in advance for their patience and understanding."
