Police Scotland is appealing for information after a man was found with serious head injuries within a property in Lintmill Road on Sunday 23 April 2017.
At around 0325 on Sunday 23 April, police responded to a report of a possible disturbance within a property in Lintmill Road. Officers attended and discovered a 20 year-old man with a serious head injury inside the house. An ambulance was contacted and the 20 year-old man was taken by ambulance to Crosshouse Hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries. He was then transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medical staff describe his condition as serious Detective Constable Scott Moore, Kilmarnock CID, said today: “Detectives are now investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. It is not yet determined how this man came about his injuries and whether they were accidental or inflicted. “There are separate reports of men being the area of Lintmill Road at around the same time in the early hours of Sunday morning. “I am appealing for the public to provide any information which can help us determine what happened. If you were on Lintmill Road at around 0330 hours then please get in touch. Local residents may have seen or heard a disturbance. Please contact us with any information you have .
