Police appeal to find missing 51 year-old Caroline Marris from Ayr

Police are appealing for assistance from the public to help trace Caroline Marris who has been missing from her home in Russell Drive, Ayr, since Friday 8 March 2019.

Caroline (51) was last seen in Charlotte Street, Ayr, around 11am on the Friday morning. She is described as white, 5ft4 in height and is of a slim build. She has dyed blond hair, sometimes wears a woolen beanie hat and occasionally uses a walking stick to help her get about.

Sergeant Chris Hynds, Ayr Police Office, said:

"Caroline was reported missing to police on Wednesday 13 March 2019. Since then officers have been checking with friends and family and the areas she tends to frequent including Girvan, the Isle of Bute and Rutherglen, but so far she has not been seen since.

"We would ask people to keep a look out for her and if she is seen, or if anyone knows where she is, then please contact Ayr Police Office via 101 quoting reference number 1365 of the 13 March 2019.

"We'd also ask Caroline herself to get in touch so we can make sure she is ok."
