Police appeal to help trace Alan Galbraith aged 58 from Kilmarnock

Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace a man who has been reported missing.

Alan Galbraith (58) was last seen at around 0200 hours on Sunday 5 February 2017, close to the old abattoir on Dundonald Road, Kilmarnock.

Alan is described as a white man who is around 6ft tall. He has a stocky build and is bald with grey hair at the back and sides.

When he was last seen he was wearing a blue north face fleece, blue trousers and tan coloured boots.

Sergeant Sharon Cadwell from Kilmarnock Police Station is appealing for information. She said today:

“It is very unlike Alan to disappear in this manner, with no further contact to family and friends.

“We have been conducting extensive searches in the area to trace Alan. At this time enquires are ongoing and we are increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.

“We would ask local residents to consider this appeal and description. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the police. I would also like to appeal directly to Alan. Please call your family or police to let us know that you are safe.”

Anyone with information should contact Kilmarnock Police Office via 101.
