Police appealing after a Robbery in Kilwinning

ROBBERY – KILWINNING


Police Scotland is appealing for information after a 31 year-old man was robbed in Kilwinning on Tuesday 10 July 2018.



Around 10.10 pm on Tuesday 10 July 2018 a 31 year-old man was walking along Main Street, Kilwinning when he was pulled into Castlepen Close by three men, assaulted and robbed of his mobile phone.


The 31 year-old attended Crosshouse Hospital where his injuries were described as serious.


The first suspect is described as being white, in his late 20s, early 30s and was wearing a grey hooded top and grey shorts.


The second suspect is described as being white and his late 20s, early 30s.


No further details of the third suspect.


Detective Constable Steven Ferry, Saltcoats CID, said:


“This attack was violent and thoughtless and has left a man with serious injuries.


“Our officers have been checking CCTV and speaking to those in the local area to try and trace those responsible.


“We are asking you to think back, where were you that night? Did you see or hear anything that might help our investigation?


“If you have any information that can help we urge you to come forward and contact us.”
