Officers in South Ayrshire are continuing enquiries and appealing for information following reports of a break-in to a property in Park Circus, Ayr.
Between 5pm on Sunday 25th March and 9.30am on Friday 13th of April 2018 entry has been forced to the property and number of items stolen from within.
Among the items stolen from the property were a diamond pendant and a sapphire and diamond ring which police are today releasing images of as part of the enquiry.
Sergeant Stuart Gibson, from Ayr Police Station, said: “Break-ins to a persons home can have a serious impact on that individual and make them feel unsafe.
“During this incident a large quantity of jewellery was stolen and I would appeal to anyone who may have been offered similar items for sale to please contact us.
“We are carrying out enquiries to trace those responsible and I would urge anyone who may have information which could assist with this enquiry to get in touch.”
