Police are appealing for assistance from the public in tracing Emily Craig (14) from the Kilmarnock area and Egan Ritchie (15) from Dreghorn, Irvine who were last seen on Monday 3 September 2018.
Both Emily and Egan left for their schools in Kilmarnock on Monday morning and were last seen together a short time later in the King Street area of the town, however they did not attend school and they have not been in contact with their families. Emily Craig, (14) lives in Kilmarnock and is described as 5ft 6 inches in height and of medium build with long brown hair and a fair complexion. She was wearing a black jacket, black shirt with a purple tie and wearing black and white trainers. She was carrying a grey bag. Egan Ritchie (15) lives in Dreghorn, Irvine and is described as 6ft 1 in height with black hair. He was wearing black trousers and a black blazer with a white, black, red and yellow striped tie. Inspector Frank Braddick from Ayrshire Police Division stated "Both Emily and Egan have not been missing before and concern is growing for their safety and well-being as it is out of character for them not to keep in contact with their family or friends. “They are both known to frequent the Kilmarnock and Irvine areas and a number of searches and enquiries are ongoing to trace them. “I would urge anyone who has seen Emily or Egan, or who has any information regarding their whereabouts to places contact Kilmarnock Police Station through 101 quoting reference number 2121 of 3rd September.”
