Police are appealing for information after serious fire in Ardrossan

WILFUL FIRERAISING – ARDROSSAN

Detectives are continuing enquiries and appealing for information following a wilful fireraising in Ardrossan on Tuesday 24 October 2017.

Around 1750 hours on Tuesday afternoon, officers were called to a report of a fire at the derelict Seafield School on Eglinton Road, Ardrossan. The fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Detective Constable Sarah Holland of Saltcoats Police Office said:

“Enquiries are at an early stage into this fire, however at this time I would urge anyone who witnessed anything suspicious, or who may have information that will assist the police investigation to contact Detectives at Saltcoats through 101 quoting reference number 2760 of 24th October.
