The Remnants of Hurricane Dorian which is currently hittings parts of the US could cross the Atlantic and effect our own weather here in Ayrshire.
However Hurricane Dorian will weaken and will become an ex-hurricane by the time it hits Scotland and will most likely hit as a storm or severe storm.
Currently weather models suggest Scotland could be hit by the remains of Hurricane Dorian however there remains plenty of room for change and uncertainty is high at this time.
