The programme, which is being carried-out by Scotland Transerv on behalf of Transport Scotland, is due to be completed by the end of February 2018 at which time the temporary traffic lights will be removed. The complicated repairs will see embankment supporting the road being stabilised and improvements made to the drainage system and the safety barrier. Tony Black, Transport Scotland Project Manager said: “We have been working behind the scenes in order to progress this work.  “The damage caused by landslips can be very difficult to repair as our geotechnical experts have to make sure that the ground is prepared properly to allow the work to be carried-out safely.  This complex task is now nearing completion and the next stage is getting underway. “We would like to thank the local community for their patience across this whole process.  We will be keeping them up to date on the programme and our operating company Scotland Transerv will be doing what they can to minimise disruption.”
