Saturday's Scottish Grand National at Ayr Racecourse is a complete sell out

Saturday's Scottish Grand at Ayr Racecourse is a complete sell out with 17,000 tickets selling out after noon today!

This is the second year the tickets have been sold out to it's capacity for the Saturday race meeting, with tickets sometimes selling out just before the first race.

Ayr Racecourse Managing Director David Brown said : “We are absolutely delighted to sell out a few days in advance. It shows the popularity of this meeting – Scotland’s biggest and richest jumps race day.

“We are looking forward to welcoming a bumper crowd who will see some top racing with virtually all of the major stables in the UK and Ireland likely to be represented and of course we also have the battle for the British Trainers Championship between Willie Mullins and Paul Nicholls being played out adding to the occasion.”
