South Ayrshire Council meetings to be streamed online

Members of the public will be able to watch South Ayrshire Council meetings live or on demand after they are finished.

The council say that the meetings will soon be available to watch online 'thanks to our investment in a new digital meeting platform'.

It comes as the start of the COVID-19 pandemic has seen meetings being conducted virtually as the council wants to help keep the public, their employees and elected members safe.

The council say it is their priority to keep everyone informed and following extensive testing of the new platform, they are now ready to live stream some Council meetings like the regulatory panel (planning), leadership panel and Full Council meetings.

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, to help keep the public, our employees and Elected Members safe, our Council meetings have been conducted virtually. While it's still not possible to hold these meetings in person, we have been working behind the scenes to make our meetings accessible to the public again.

You can view these meetings by visiting at the scheduled time which can be found on SAC's website. An archive of public meetings will also be available to view using this link.

A schedule of all Council meetings until April 2022 is available on the councils website.
