TRAVEL giant Stagecoach are set to launch 27 brand new state of the art double deckers going on service to the public this Monday 8th January.
The buses will be fitted with Leather seats, Free WIFI and even USB sockets to charge your phone or Tablet during your journey.
A launch event will take place this Saturday at the old Magnum car park where the public can view and even take pictures of the buses.
Stagecoach issued the following statement online:
"Coming soon to a bus stop near you in January we have 27 new state of the art double deck buses for the service 11 - YESSSS!
"Call it a late Christmas present or a great start to the new year, our new buses will be on the route from Monday 8th January and will feature free Wifi, USB charging points and e-leather seats...SWEET!
"If you can't wait until 8th January then come along to our Service 11 launch at the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine at 10.30am on Friday 5th January.
Jane McCarry (Isa from Still Game) and Humza Yousaf, the Minister for Transport and the Islands will help to launch the vehicles.
"A new timetable will also be in place from that date check it out to plan your journey."
