The Enviro E300 has been given a new cream and red paint job complete with gold vinyls in a modern interpretation of the old Western livery which used to grace the buses of Ayrshire and beyond.
The bus which operates between Ayr, Kilmarnock and Glasgow is now out on the route and it’s hoped that the sight of the bus will provide a pleasant trip down memory lane for customers and enthusiasts across the region.
Tom Bridge Managing Director Stagecoach West Scotland said
“We are very proud of our heritage and the success of the service 4 route which has been in operation for over sixty years. This nostalgic nod to our past is to celebrate the importance of public transport to the communities we have served over the years and will continue to serve in the future.”
