The Public and Bus drivers ready to cycle and run the length of Ayrshire to raise funds for John Kil

The public and Stagecoach bus drivers are ready to cycle from Girvan to Largs to raise funds towards the John Kiltie just giving page and you can take part!

Stagecoach Bus drivers across Ayrshire are ready to take part in the biggest cycle with some drivers and public planning to Cycle from Girvan to Largs via Ayr.

The cycle stretches the length of Ayrshire with over 70 miles worth of Cycling but thats not all.

Paul McCafferty who has helped plan this event will be running from Girvan to Maybole along with members of the public. Paul and other organisers have also stated that no matter what your ability there is a place for you and for just £10 you can buy a printed T-Shirt with all funds going towards the Just giving page.

The cycle route will cover two of the most common bus routes that John Kiltie used to drive including the 60 From Ayr to Girvan and the 585 service from Ayr to Largs.

Organisers of the event have made posters and started an online campaign to get people across Ayrshire and beyond to take part with all funds raised on the day going towards the fundraising page. You can also choose how far and what part you would like to do so there is no need to commit to the whole route.

The main joining points across the route will be Girvan, Kirkoswald, Maybole, Minishant, Ayr Bus Station, Prestwick, Troon Beach, Irvine, Ardrossan and Largs

Timetables have still to be confirmed for the joining points above and T-shirts can be ordered via Paul McCafferty via Facebook or Stagecoach bus drivers in a sealed envelope including your £10 along with your size of T-shirt and contact number.
