The great news is that we will see a huge KC135 Stratotanker cruising along the Ayr beach flightline on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September.
Not only are we going to see this highly impressive aeroplane flying for the first time at Scotland’s biggest Airshow but the USAF are sending 2 senior officers to the Airshow. One of them will be a commentator on the day and the other will be in the Patron’s area to meet the photographers and enthusiasts who want the best spaces for recording all the highlights of 2 great days flying at the 2017 Scottish International Airshow. Tickets for the Airshow are selling well and if you want to get some extra comfort and facilities or even dine in style in the Saturday VIP marquee or Sunday Business Lounge then book your tickets before they sell out. The Patron's area ticket gets you the best unobstructed views, dedicated marquee with complimentary food and chance to meet and chat to some of our weekend pilots. Our USAF officer will be in the Patron’s marquee area several times during both days. You are welcome to come and ask some questions See below for the ticket link. Entry to the Patron’s area is by ticket only http://www.tsia.scot/tickets/ The family area will be packed with children’s entertainment on both days. A great place to base yourself on either the Saturday 2nd or Sunday 3rd September Plan your travel for the weekend and book ahead early for buses or trains. Both will be busy and some queues can be expected after the Airshow finishes on both Saturday and Sunday. If you are coming by car the official car park will be signposted from all approach roads and we have a special route out of Ayr to get you on your way as quickly as possible after the Airshow #ScotAir17 All the ticket information and booking here http://www.tsia.scot/tickets/
