Traffic Alert: Serious accident on the A77 northbound

Traffic is at a standstill in the Fenwick area, as the A77 is closed Northbound due to a 'Serious Accident'.
The Ayrshire Post, posted on Facebook at 9.15 that a car has overturned on it's roof, involving a smash, it shows the car blocking the road, take alternative routes if possible.
The incdient is between the B7082 Grassyards Road, Kilmarnock and the M77 J8 Fenwick slip off - please take delays into consideration.
Police, Fire Crews and Ambulances are in attendance - police are directing traffic.
Reports that the Recovery Truck is having problem getting through traffic - things may take longer.
