Travel misery as Storm forecasted to hit Ayrshire on Christmas day with Storm force winds

A storm currently projected to hit Ayrshire and Scotland on Christmas day could bring travel misery and spark nationwide weather warnings with current weather models stay on track.

The unusual extreme cold is blaming the sudden change in weather the USA is facing ramping up our jet stream across the Atlantic and driving in deep areas of low pressure. The currently forecasted storm is set to hit on Christmas day with a low of 955mb and wind speeds between 60 and 90mph sparking red warning fears across the coast of Ayrshire.

This storm has the potential to be Ayrshire first major storm this winter and consider the current calm weather will come as a shock to people, especially on Christmas day.
