Temperatures are set to drop to just 3c during the day this weekend with lows of - 5c at night as cold polar Air arrives from the North.
Temperatures recently have been on the milder side for winter so far however this weekend will give a real taste of winter with a cold bitter Northern wind making temperatures struggle above 3c on Saturday along with frost and mist possible in some places.
Tomorrow will see the change take place lasting all weekend before temperatures rise again early next week.
Temperatures could drop to - 5c in rural areas on Saturday night so ice and mist will be a risk during Sunday morning.
