Women’s Health will be in the spotlight from Monday 21 August to Friday 25 August when Vibrant Communities lend their support to Women’s Health Week.

Traditionally women are more likely to seek medical advice if they are concerned about their health and the Lifestyle Development, Older People and Wellbeing team want to make sure this continues. They will be promoting women’s health at classes, walks and CHIP van visits during the week. A free Women’s Health Week information pack and health check will be available from the CHIP van. The team will also be on hand to provide advice on healthy living and eating. To find out where the CHIP van be during Women’s Health Week or to book a free health check please contact Faye Forsyth on 01563 576398 or email faye.forsyth@east-ayrshire.gov.uk Information and advice about women’s health is available at www.nhs.uk

Keep updated on all things local
