Youth attacks on buses leads to service cancellations

A sprite of vandalism attacks on Ayrshire bus routes has left some services cancelled over the past few nights.

The Patna bus service 52 has been worst affected with youths smashing bus windows or turning off engines via the emergency buttons.

The service 52 has been forced to avoid Patna during the dark hours.

Just tonight Girvan bus services have also been affected with yet more smashed windows at Elder Avenue bus terminus.
