£10,000 of drugs have been seized by police in North Ayrshire
Around 9am on Friday 6th May 2016 officers gained entry to properties in Warrix Avenue, Irvine and Braidwood Road, Kilwinning under the powers of a search warrant issued by a Sheriff.
Three people will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal following the recovery of alleged class B drugs in today's operation.
Inspector Jim McMillan, Locality Policing Inspector for the area, commented: "on 18th May this year we introduced 6 new Locality Policing Teams in North Ayrshire. These teams have a focus on community engagement, crime prevention and targeting issues of local concern.
"The information gained by police recently has led to the search of these addresses by our Irvine and Kilwinning Locality Policing Teams, supported by colleagues from our Priority Policing Team.
"We are committed to keeping people safe and I would encourage anyone with any information on crime in their area to contact us."
