STILL MISSING: See updated article - click here. POLICE Scotland issued an appeal on Facebook asking for the assistance of the public to help trace a 70 year old man, Graham Johnstone from Annbank in Ayrshire.
Graham, 70, left his home in Whitehill Crescent, Annbank around 1040hrs on Friday 1st of January 2016, he then failed to return home, which resulted in his family reporting him missing.
Mr Johnstone is around 5ft 8inches in height, with a medium build, grey hair, slightly balding, clean shaven, and wearing glasses.
He was wearing a black zipped top, beige trousers, a fawn coloured cardigan, and may also be wearing a hat.
Mr Johnstone enjoys walking alongside the local rivers and routes, and although Graham is in good health, his family are extremely worried that he has failed to return home, and just want him home safe.
Ayrshire Police Division said: "Police resources, such as the dog unit, have been involved in the search for Mr Johnstone, however, attempts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.
If anyone has any information or has seen Mr Graham Johnstone, please contact officers at Ayr Police Office on 101 as soon as possible.
