The Sandgate Route will re-open daily during the works, from 6am to 8pm, which is when works will start again.

Ayrshire Roads Alliance, who have appointed a contractor to carry out the works said the work will be carried out through out the night from 8pm to 6am to reduce the impact on local businesses.

A spokesperson for Ayrshire Roads Alliance said:

“The Ayrshire Roads Alliance, on behalf of South Ayrshire Council, will be appointing a contractor to carry out this work starting on Sunday 9 June for 5 days.
