Ayrshire Holiday Park Offer a Few Families Affected by Thomas Cook Free Five Day Stay

Turnberry Holiday Park in Ayrshire gave away six spots to families who were due to fly out with Thomas Cook today.


The fantastic offering was giving six lucky families a five day holiday to enjoy at the Ayrshire park.

The park said: "We know it's not the holiday abroad you were expecting however as mentioned before, holidays are a time for family and we hope this will help one family still create those amazing memories as planned."


It was officially announced around 2:30 AM (Today) Monday 23, September that the Airline giant had ceased trading - leaving 150,000 worrying about what to do next before they fly out or how to get home from abroad.


The Turnberry located holiday park posted to Facebook:

"We are deeply saddened to hear about the unfortunate situation with Thomas Cook this morning.


"We understand that family holidays are a time to get away and make they special memories with those nearest and dearest to you.


"Therefore, we are offering 6 FAMILIES who are due to fly out today a FREE 5 day holiday starting tomorrow at Turnberry Holiday Park.


"Are you due to fly out or know someone who could benefit from this? please share this post."


The company behind the Turnberry Holiday Park, Bridge Leisure, have offered free stays at all 9 parks.


It is understood that the spots have been snapped up.
