Charity fireworks success at Ayr Racecourse with over £13,000 raised
OVER £13,000 was raised for the BUYMSH Charity when the Fireworks display returned to Ayr Racecourse this year thrilling over 3,000 visitors.
Nigel Martin MBE, who is on the Board of Trustees for the BUYMSH plan, previously ran the display in aid of the Ayrshire Hospice, when it was brought to an end four years ago.
Nigel returned this year with plans to raise thousands of pounds for the charity.
In total, 9,000 Fireworks were launched into the sky, themed to superhero music!
The fundraising is to go towards building a new MSH. The appeal's Facebook page said: "The fireworks at Ayr Racecourse last night were outstanding! 9000 spectacular fireworks launched to superhero-themed music. Amazing!
"And what a great turnout from the people of Ayrshire. The #BUYMSH team wish to thank everyone for supporting us and giving generously to support our charity.
"Special thanks to Nigel Martin MBE for having faith in us. We hope to see you and all your family & friends next year."
