Man arrested after Prestwick Robbery

Officers from South Ayrshire Police have arrested and charged a 19 year old man in connection with the alleged robbery of a 17 year old man at Outdale Avenue, Prestwick on Friday 14th June 2019.


The 19 year old man has also been charged with various other offences.


Chief Inspector Brian Anderson, Local Area Commander for South Ayrshire, commented:

"We are committed to protecting the public against all forms of criminality and we work hard to bring those who commit crimes to justice. This is yet another example of effective team working and will reassure the public that there will be no let-up in identifying and arresting those who cause harm in our local community”

The 19 year old man will appear at Ayr Sheriff Court today.
