Plans Submitted For a New Offshore Wind Farm on The Firth of Clyde Near Ayr Beach

Plans pictured below have been submitted by a new Scottish green energy firm for a new offshore wind farm on the Firth of Clyde near Ayr beach.

The new offshore wind farm will be located as pictured above between Ayr Beach & Arran and is expected to be active by 2026 if approved.

Planning permission has already been placed with South Ayrshire Council & The Scottish Government with a consultation set to get underway during the summer of this year.

Green Yojoke Energy Said:

“We can’t wait to get construction underway for 19 new high tech super offshore wind farm, each windmill will stand at around 45 meters high and will produce enough electricity by the sea to power the nearby village of Maybole for 3 months. A consultation period will begin in the summer with planning hopefully approved for Christmas 2021.”
